This is one serious hot rod. It is an original steel body 1929 Ford Model A pick-up. The fenders are fiberglass, but the body and running boards are original steel. The chassis is totally custom with TCI front suspension and narrowed rear with coil-overs and a 4 bar link. The engine is a real powerhouse which produces 611 lbs. of torque and 637hp on the dyno. It is a 468 big block that has been seriously worked over. It features a 671 BDS blower, 2 Holley 750 carburetors, an set of Edelbrock polished aluminum heads, MSD ignition, custom Sanderson headers feeding 3 inch stainless exhaust through polished stainless steel Magnaflow mufflers. The headers have custom caps that can be removed or reinstalled in under 5 minutes. The balance of the drive train includes a brand new 700R4 with shift kit and a stall converter and a 9 inch Detroit Locker with 4.11 gears. The list of modifications is long, but for example the rear valance is punched to spell out 1929 which is backlit with Red LEDs. On both sides, at the rear of the bottom facing are polished stainless steel plates that say 29 which are backlit with Yellow LEDs. The bed area of this truck has a custom cover that is made to follow the same lines as the roof. Under the cover is a small storage area as well as the trucks fuel cell and battery compartment. The truck is stopped by disc brakes on all corners and it rides on Centerline Convo rims with Mickey Thompson tires. It has a great stance and is always the center of attention
